Brussels Sprouts With Lemon Garlic 
Brussels Sprouts are one of my favorite Vegetables. Brussels sprouts with lemon and parmesan cheese with Garlic Aioli sauce is extra awesome. Healthy Brussels Sprouts , easy to make, fresh and healthy options to add to ay meal
I have to admit something here. I am not a veggie-lover! I grew up in a house where the veggies were boiled and serve plain. Because of that I have been scarred for life and I usually have to doctor my veggies with cheese sauce or something to hide their taste. Brussels Sprouts With Lemon Garlic they were awesome

I am however a grown up so I do eat my veggies. This recipe manages to enhance the flavors of Brussels Sprouts
Brussels Sprouts With Lemon Garlic
instead of having to hide them. I grow them in the summer in my garden and they grow monstrous. (Feed them with lots of compost and you will make them happy and big) If you don’t grow them you can usually get them at your local market or grocery store and they will be fresh.
Once I tried drying them in the oven to make chips. You have probably seen kale chips. I thought I would make chips out of the leaves that come off when you cut the sprouts in half. What a great idea! Healthy, crunchy, Brussels Spout chips.
It worked well, but there were so many that we didn’t eat them all and I saved some in a rubbermaid container and took them to work and put the rest in the cupboard in a zip lock. They smelled so bad when I got to work it stunk up the office and they made me put the container out side and we opened up all the windows to air out the smell, but we all had a good laugh over it.
I went away that weekend to come home to a kitchen that reeked to high heaven and do you know it took me months to get that smell out of my cabinet. (By the way coffee grounds will remove smells better than baking soda). Well, it was worth it all and makes for a funny but true story.
Try this recipe with the garlic and lemon topped off with the Parmesan cheese. The Aioli dip makes a nice addition to an already great group of flavors. But don’t try making chips. Consider yourself warned.

Brussels Sprouts With Lemon Garlic
Ingredients
- 2 Pounds of Brussels Sprouts
- 3 cloves of Garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup of Olive Oil
- juice from 1/2 lemon
- 1 cup of mayonnaise
- one garlic clover minced
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- a pinch of pepper
Instructions
- Prepare brussels sprouts by cutting off the end and cutting in half.
- Place brussels sprouts in large bowl and drizzle with olive oil, lemon, garlic and salt.
- Toss in the bowl to cover. Place on cookie sheet and roast in the oven at 400° for about 30 minutes or until Brussel Sprouts are golden brown and tender but not too soft
- . Remove from oven and given them another toss with parmesan cheese and lemon juice. Serve hot.
- Mix mayonnaise,the rest of the lemon juice,garlic,and salt and pepper and mix together for the Aioli Dip
