Some people, including myself are intimidated to use a pressure cooker. I am no longer afraid. They are easy to use, and they are made so well these days and the automatic and electric ones are so much better than ones you cook over the stove top.
They are much safer. Pressure cookers clean up easy, and have so many settings they are versatile for so many ways to cook.
My pressure cooker has settings obviously to cook quickly on the pressure cooker settings. It can also act like a slow cooker, like a crock pot, and has sauté settings.
I can brown meats first then set the pressure to cook them. Stews can be cooked and ready to serve in a hour, normally they takes hours. The pressure cooker will also keep you food warm after cooking which is a great additional feature.
I can also make yogurt in my pressure cooker that is so easy and ready in 8 hours. Add the ingredients. Set the prepper settings, close the lid, and waiThe cooker keeps the cultured milk at the right temperature for perfect yogurt.
