Sometimes you have to change it up when you are cooking and make a light meal. I made Stuffed Belgian Endive Appetizer Recipe. Delicious flavors of roasted walnuts and mixing them with the honey and balsamic vinegar and creamy Feta cheese makes all of your taste buds is an easy recipe to make.
Endive Stuffed with Feta, is a perfect recipe and it was just what we needed for dinner for that change of pace. I paired it with a Black bean grilled corn salad and a Caprese salad. What a great variety to have together!
Stuffed Belgian Endive Appetizer is Healthy And Easy
Roasting walnuts brings out the extra flavor and those mixed with Feta combined with sweet dates makes a triple combo. The saltiness in the feta topped with the drizzle of the honey balsamic is the opposite of the bitterness of the endive but boy it makes such a great flavor combination because an old saying says it, opposites attract.
I love feta, but I am a finicky Feta fan. There are only certain brands I buy, but everyone has to find their own favorites. I personally like sheep’s milk feta from Israel. It has great flavor, is creamy and not bland at all. I always have feta in the fridge because it is great on salads , apps and I use it in some dinner recipes. Stuffed Belgian endive appetizer recipe will make you seem like a gourmet
Even though endive is a fancy lettuce topped with anything it is so good. Endive is a crunchy slightly bitter lettuce that makes a great appetizer. You can stuff the endive leaves with anything you like and the leaves will stay crunchy and hold up as a compartment for whatever stuffings you give it. It makes an elegant app and even the word sound elegant. Whether you say it as “Ahn-deeve” or “Endive” it doesn’t matter. You pick. But pick this recipe to make your next tasty appetizer or side for dinner or lunch.
