- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup balsalmic vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 25 medium Shrimp
- 3 tablespoons Chopped green onions
mix all ingredients (except shrimp and green onions in a bowl)
Clean shrimp and pour marinade over the shrimp
Allow to marinate 30 minutes or prep ahead of time and allow to marinate overnight
Add olive oil to heated pan on medium
Place shrimp in heated pan with most of the marinade reserved
Cook for approximately 2-3 mintutes until shrimp is cooked through
Add remaining marinade and continue to cook until liquid is reduced and thickened being careful to not overcook the shrimp
Removed from pan and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve immediately
Marinate shrimp the night before and place in refridgerator to save time on dinner time
Shrimp is ready in less that 20 minutes with prep and cook time. Extra time added as a buffer in case your prep time, cleaning shrimp takes longer.
Great to serve over brown rice, vegetables or salad for a healthy meal
Do not overcook the shrimp or it will result in a tough rubbery texture of shrimp
